HRA has provided prevention and care for people impacted by HIV/AIDS since 1989. Today, we continue to be a leading provider of services to impacted people in the greater New Britain and Bristol area. HRA is a proud partner with Greater Hartford Ryan White Planning Council and AIDS CT.
The Health and Wellness Division develops, implements, and evaluates programs and services that foster physical, mental, social, and intellectual development. This is accomplished while nurturing the individual’s capacity to interact in pro-social ways that foster individual, family, and community development. We strive to remove the stigma associated with health problems such as HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and mental illness.
