Success Story - A Polish speaking gentleman came into our office recently in dire need of assistance. He suffered from an accident at work that left him permanently disabled and unable to continue working. He did not have medical insurance and did not know how to apply for state medical insurance. With the support of the Polish Outreach counselor, he filled out all the appropriate paperwork including the forms for State Supplement, Medicaid, Food Stamps, and State Administered General Assistance. With help from the Polish Outreach program, he qualified for disability insurance and will soon be receiving this as well as other assistance to cover his food, medical, and living expenses.
